XRP Price Prediction: XRP Is Running Out of Room to Avoid a Major Decision

By Afe Funbi

Key highlights:

  • The XRP price is trading between $1.49 and $1.53, creating a key range for the next move
  • A break above $1.535 could open the path toward $1.65, $1.70 and potentially $1.90
  • A loss of $1.49 could send XRP toward $1.26, $1.23 and the $1.10 support zone

XRP is trading around $1.50 after falling 0.27% on the latest 4-hour candle. The price has stayed within a narrow range, with the candle reaching $1.51 at the high and $1.50 at the low.

That leaves the XRP price stuck between two important Fibonacci levels: $1.49 on the downside and $1.53 on the upside. A break from this range could determine whether XRP makes another attempt at $1.70 or starts a deeper correction.

XRP price is trapped between $1.49 and $1.53

We had a look at the XRP chart, and the XRP price is almost exactly between the $1.4995 and $1.5315 0.65 Fibonacci levels. These two levels are now the closest areas to watch. A move above $1.53 would put $1.63 and $1.64 into view.

Above that, the next resistance levels are $1.65 and $1.70. The $1.70 level matters because it marks the previous Wave 1 high on the chart. CasiTrades is also watching the broader $1.65 macro .618 resistance.

The analyst says XRP could make one final move toward roughly $1.70 before entering a larger correction. However, another high is not required for the current structure to continue. If XRP breaks through $1.65 and moves toward $1.80, the setup would become stronger. A move back toward $1.65 after that could turn the former resistance into support.

The XRP price could still see a deeper correction

The Elliott Wave count gives the XRP price another possible path. The chart places XRP in Wave 2, following the move from the $0.98 macro low to the $1.7052 Wave 1 peak. In this scenario, XRP could pull back toward the $1.26 – $1.30 area before the next impulsive wave begins.

The chart marks $1.26 as the 0.618 Fibonacci support and $1.2384 as another 0.65 Fibonacci level. CasiTrades also identifies $1.27 and $1.10 as the main Wave 2 support areas. The $1.10 region is marked as a major support zone on the chart.

A deeper decline toward $0.90 would change the current Elliott Wave count. The chart places $0.8746 at the lower end of the major support structure, so losing the higher support levels would expose a much weaker setup.

Where could the XRP price go next?

For XRP, the immediate battle is between $1.4995 and $1.5315. Holding above $1.4995 keeps the current structure intact. But breaking $1.53 would give bulls room to target $1.64, $1.65, and $1.70. A move above $1.70 would bring $1.90 into view, followed by the chart’s projected $2.00-plus Wave 3 target.

If XRP loses $1.49, the focus shifts to $1.26, $1.23, and $1.10. CoinCodex’s 1-month XRP price prediction puts the price at $1.62, implying that analysts expect the price above the current level.

For now, XRP is at a clear decision point. The narrow range between $1.4995 and $1.5315 means the next breakout or breakdown could give a much clearer signal about whether XRP is heading toward $1.70 or entering a deeper Wave 2 correction.
