Hedera Price Prediction: Analyst Eyes $0.50 HBAR Price Target as Higher Lows Point to a Rally

By Afe Funbi

Key highlights:

  • Analysts see the HBAR price reaching $0.504 after a series of higher lows
  • HBAR holds above $0.07827, with $0.048 as the next major support
  • Hedera’s 34-member Council oversees key network and governance decisions

Hedera is starting to look stronger after holding a series of higher lows on the 3-day chart. Analyst Javon Marks believes this structure could set up a much larger move, with $0.504 as one of the major targets on his chart.

The HBAR price was trading at $0.08613 after gaining 8.70% on the latest 3-day candle. The candle reached a high of $0.08927 and a low of $0.07827, giving the move a wide range and showing strong buying activity during the period. Marks’ chart tracks 216 three-day candles, equivalent to 648 days, showing how long the recovery structure has taken to develop.

The HBAR price is building a series of higher lows

The main part of Marks’ bullish case comes from the market structure. HBAR fell from around $0.45 during the 2021 cycle to a 2023 low near $0.048. From that bottom, the chart began producing higher highs and higher lows.

The latest higher-low area is around $0.08613, with $0.07827 serving as the first major support below it. Marks believes this structure could lead to a move of more than 350%. His chart places $0.504 as the first major target, followed by $0.962 and $1.08.

For the HBAR price to move from $0.08613 to $0.504, it would need to gain about 485%. Reaching $0.962 would require an increase of roughly 1,017% from the current level. These are analyst projections, not guaranteed price outcomes, and the chart also gives a clear level that would weaken the bullish setup. A break below $0.048 would expose the $0.030 area marked as the next major support.

Hedera’s governance model adds a different angle

The HBAR price story also comes with an unusual governance structure. BSCN reported that Hedera is governed by a Council made up of 34 organizations from 13 industries. The Council includes companies, universities and a nonprofit consortium. Its members include Google, IBM, Dell, Deutsche Telekom, FedEx, McLaren Racing and Accenture.

Each member gets one vote, regardless of the organization’s size or HBAR holdings. The Council votes on network technology, pricing, security and the use of the HBAR treasury. Any change to Hedera’s 50 billion HBAR maximum supply requires unanimous approval from Council members.

Members can serve up to two consecutive three-year terms. Hedera’s consensus nodes are also operated by Council members, meaning the network remains permissioned at the node level. HBAR holders can stake to a node and increase its weight in consensus, but staking does not give them a Council governance vote.

What comes next for the HBAR price?

We had a look at the 3-day HBAR chart, and $0.07827 is the first support level to watch. If that level fails, the next major areas are $0.048 and $0.030. On the upside, $0.504 is the first major target from Marks’ projection.

A move beyond that level would put $0.962 and $1.08 on the chart, followed by $2 and $3.70. CoinCodex’s 1-month HBAR price prediction places the price at $0.1472, implying that analysts expect the price to move higher from current levels over the coming weeks.

For now, the HBAR price remains above the key support areas identified on the chart, and the higher-low structure remains intact. The next major test for this setup is whether HBAR can continue its recovery and eventually reach the $0.504 target.
