Daily TAO chart analysis

Key highlights:

  • Analyst identifies $500 as the first major target after TAO breaks its yearly downtrend
  • Binance raised TAO’s collateral ratio to 60%, increasing its utility in margin products
  • The TAO price faces $350-$356 resistance as RSI readings point to overheated momentum

Bittensor is showing fresh signs of strength after breaking above a long-standing yearly downtrend that had capped the market for months. Analyst Rand Group believes that move confirms a full bullish reversal, with $500 serving as his first major target.

The timing is notable. The TAO price has climbed from a macro low near $147.5 to the $320 region, market capitalization has expanded to roughly $3.5 billion, and Binance has increased TAO’s collateral ratio to 60%, giving the AI-focused token a larger role inside its margin ecosystem. Taken together, these developments are helping fuel renewed interest in Bittensor.

The TAO price has broken a key downtrend

Rand Group’s chart focuses on a descending trendline that connected lower highs from the peak near $560. That trendline acted as resistance through much of the decline, rejecting several recovery attempts.

That changed when TAO broke above the trendline and pushed through the $250–$265 resistance area. The breakout came with a strong 3-day candle that gained 11.83%, moving from roughly $222 to around $265.

The chart labels this a confirmed bullish reversal and points to $500 as the first conservative upside target. The structure becomes even more interesting when you look at the support zones that were held during the correction. The $185.5 area absorbed multiple tests, helping establish a base for the recovery.

Since then, the TAO price has produced a series of higher lows and higher highs, a pattern traders often associate with a trend reversal. If buyers continue defending the breakout zone, the next resistance levels come in at $340 and $480. Beyond that, the chart points toward the previous all-time high region near $640.

Binance’s collateral update gives TAO more utility

Price action is only one part of the story. Binance recently increased TAO’s collateral ratio to 60%, which changes how the asset can be used across margin products.

In practical terms, every $1,000 worth of TAO now contributes $600 of usable collateral value. Previously, a lower collateral weight would have reduced the amount recognized for margin purposes. The adjustment makes the asset more capital-efficient for traders who want exposure to the TAO price without selling their holdings.

The change also points to growing confidence in TAO’s liquidity profile. Exchanges typically assign higher collateral values to assets they consider sufficiently liquid and suitable for risk-managed margin use. Greater collateral utility can support borrowing activity, derivatives participation, and overall market liquidity.

That does not remove risk. Higher collateral weights can also crank up leverage across the market. If TAO swings hard in either direction, liquidations can get bigger and more frequent. Because of that, traders will probably keep a close eye on open interest, funding rates, and any future exchange updates.

The TAO charts continue to favor the bulls

We had a look at both the daily and shorter-term TAO charts, and the broader trend remains positive. On the daily chart, TAO is trading around $322.3, well above the 100-day simple moving average at $218.2. It’s also holding above the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement near $302.7.

The next big hurdle is $350–$356.4. A move through that would bring the 0.382 Fibonacci level at $458.8 into focus, followed by the all-time-high region near $518.6. The shorter-term chart tells a similar story.

The TAO price remains above the 100-period moving average near $247.4 and above the break-of-structure level around $300. Both levels have become important support zones after the breakout.

One warning sign comes from momentum indicators. The daily RSI is at 76.48, and the shorter-term RSI is even higher at 80.49. Readings above 70 usually mean the market has moved too far, too fast. That doesn’t mean the rally is done. But it does raise the odds of some consolidation before the next push higher.

TAO market cap growth supports the recovery story

The TAO price recovery is also visible in on-chain and market-cap data from Glassnode. Bittensor’s market capitalization has climbed from roughly $2.4 billion to about $3.5 billion. During that same period, the TAO price advanced from around $220 to approximately $320, representing a gain of about 45%.

Another metric worth watching is the drawdown from the all-time high. TAO remains about 58% below its peak near $760. That may sound substantial, but the drawdown has improved from roughly 71% at the lows. The reduction in drawdown shows that the market has recovered a meaningful portion of the previous decline.

Rising market capitalization combined with a shrinking drawdown often points to improving market conditions. It means the asset is not simply bouncing on low volume; capital is returning alongside price appreciation.

Where could the TAO price go next?

The TAO price enters the next phase with several bullish factors behind it. The yearly downtrend has been broken. Binance boosted the asset’s collateral utility. Market cap has grown toward $3.5 billion, and the drawdown from the all-time high keeps getting smaller.

The key level traders are watching now is the $350–$356 resistance zone. A clean break above that could open the path toward $458.8 and potentially the $500 target Rand Group highlighted. Beyond that, the market would likely begin focusing on the $518-$640 range.

At the same time, momentum indicators are running hot. If buyers take profits, support levels near $300, $247, and $218 could come into play before the next attempt higher. CoinCodex’s 1-month TAO price prediction places the price at $232.50, implying that analysts expect the price to trade below current levels over the coming weeks.

For now, the TAO price remains above its major support zones, and the bullish reversal structure remains intact. The next chapter depends on whether buyers can turn the breakout into a sustained move toward the $500 target that analysts are watching.
