“The 47 Plan” tariff for $47.45 a month

Trump Mobile’s flagship tariff is called “The 47 Plan” — the number refers to Trump becoming the 47th president of the United States. The cost is $47.45 per month and includes:

  • Unlimited calls, SMS, and internet traffic
  • Free international calls to 100 countries
  • Free long-distance calls for military personnel and their families
  • 24/7 roadside assistance through the Drive America service
  • Telemedicine services, including virtual counseling, mental health support, and medication delivery

The service operates through three major US carriers—reportedly Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Trump Mobile does not require a contract or a credit history check.

The T1 Phone with 256GB of memory

The company has also unveiled its own T1 Phone, which claims to provide flagship-grade performance at an affordable price.

The device will sell for $499 with a $100 down payment. Specifications include:

  • Android 15 operating system
  • 256GB internal memory
  • 12GB RAM
  • Face unlocking using AI
  • Built-in fingerprint scanner
  • USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack

An exact release date for the phone has not yet been announced, but pre-orders are already being accepted on Trump Mobile’s website. It should be noted that other crucial details, such as the phone’s processor, are not available at the moment.

There have already been controversies regarding the phone, with one customer claiming:

“I tried pre-ordering the Trump phone. The page failed and it charged my credit card the wrong amount.”

On social media, users were quick to point out that a phone released by the President’s own brand is highly irregular and likely wouldn’t be permitted in most other countries. Some also believe the phone and the Trump Mobile network will be used to contact buyers directly with presidential-related advertising.

The T1 also evokes memories of the Freedom Phone, a similarly priced phone to the T1, which turned out to just be a re-skin of a $100 Chinese phone, though we won’t know for sure until the full spec sheet releases.

Manufacturing in the US

Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, emphasized that the company will operate entirely in the United States. This has already raised a few eyebrows, as most common phone components are manufactured in China. At most, the components will be imported and assembled in the US.

“You’re not going to be calling call centers in Bangladesh — everything is done right in St. Louis, Missouri, and the phones are manufactured here in the United States of America,” he stated in an interview with Fox Business.

Eric Trump also mentioned that the Trump Organization is actively developing its technology division, including the social network Truth Social and the cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial. He said the company plans to create one of the world’s leading technology platforms.
