Key highlights:
- The BTC price triggered a fresh 4-hour SuperTrend buy signal, the same indicator that preceded a 16% rally in July
- Bitcoin reclaimed the key $63,500-$64,000 support zone, keeping the short-term bullish setup active
- Net capital flows remain below zero, showing that broader macro confirmation has not arrived yet
Bitcoin flashed a fresh bullish signal, and traders are watching closely because the last signal from the same indicator led to a rally. The BTC price is trading near $64,656, and technical analyst Ali Martinez says the market has turned bullish again on the 4-hour SuperTrend indicator.
The thing that makes it very interesting is the recent past. According to Ali, the last time the signal showed “Buy” was on July 3 when the price of BTC was at $57,700. From there, the price moved up to $68,900, that’s about a 16% increase before turning into “Sell”.
The BTC price has reclaimed an important support level
We had a look at Ali’s 4-hour chart, which tracks Bitcoin from late June through early August 2026. It shows a step-by-step trend line which serves as a support in uptrends and a resistance in downtrends.
BITCOIN BUY SIGNAL
The SuperTrend indicator has turned bullish on $BTC. The previous buy signal on July 3 was followed by a 16% rally, from $57,700 to $68,900. https://t.co/pbmksQGCHu pic.twitter.com/C0Q0LWA1s5

The recent buying signal formed as the BTC price climbed back above the said trend line at around $63,500-$64,000 level. Bitcoin is currently trading above that range, keeping the bullish setup intact for the moment.
The chart also shows how well the indicator worked during the previous swing. A buy signal appeared near the early-July low, and a sell signal appeared near the late-July peak around $67,000. That sell signal was followed by a decline into the mid-$63,000 range.
For traders following this setup, the key level is fairly simple. As long as the BTC price stays above $63,500-$64,000, the bullish signal remains active. A move back below that area would raise the risk of another drop toward $61,000.
BTC capital flows still show a cautious macro picture
Ali also shared a much larger Glassnode chart that tracks Net Capital Flows from January 2021 through August 2026. This chart measures whether money is entering or leaving the Bitcoin network.
BITCOIN MARKET BOTTOM
The last bullish divergence between the $BTC price and Net Capital Flows marked the cycle bottom.
What followed was a bull run from $15,000 to $126,000.

This trend is definitely something that should be considered. In the 2021 bull run, the inflows were around $80-$110 billion, while the price of BTC was rising up to $70,000. In the 2022 bear market trough, the capital flow became very negative, being somewhere around -$40 to -$60 billion, until BTC began to recover.
This red outflow region can be seen again in 2026. The capital is flowing out of the network ever since its peak over $100,000 in 2025, while the BTC price has mostly been trading in the $60,000-$65,000 region.
So what should traders watch next?
The short-term and long-term charts are painting a bit different pictures. While the 4-hour chart continues looking bullish if the BTC price stays above $63,500-$64,000, the macro chart still indicates that the capital is not fully flowing back into the network.
As of now, the technical setup is looking definitely better, as the BTC price has recovered its trend support, while the SuperTrend indicator has become bullish. The current structure suggests yet another run to $67,000-$68,000.
According to CoinCodex’s 1-month BTC price forecast, the price is projected to trade around $67,314, indicating moderate upside potential from current levels if buyers can continue holding the $63,500-$64,000 support zone and reclaim the key $67,000-$68,000 resistance area in the coming weeks.
