Bitget moves deeper into RWAs with Reality platform launch
Bitget is launching a dedicated RWA (real-world assets) platform called Reality, bringing its users the ability to trade tokenized US stocks and ETFs. The move is the latest step on Bitget’s roadmap towards establish a “Universal Exchange” where users can access cryptocurrencies, blockchain-based markets and traditional assets on one platform.
From electronic mail to email. From smart phone to phone.
History shows that the labels we use to define new categories disappear once they become the new norm.
Today, tokenized assets are financial infrastructure, rebuilt.

The Reality platform is issuing rTokens, which are tokenized versions of publicly-traded stocks and ETFs backed on a 1:1 basis. The shares backing rTokens are held with a US-based broker dealer that’s registered with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and under the umbrella of the SIPC (Securities Investor Protection Corporation).
To ensure 100% backing at all times, Reality will provide a Proof-of-Asset dashboard and audit reports provided by third-party auditors.
By connecting directly to U.S. equity liquidity pools, Reality enables substantial liquidity and supports institution-sized entries and exits with minimized slippage, delivering efficiency comparable to traditional order books. Corporate events such as dividends, cash distributions, and stock splits are mirrored through a deterministic 1:1 mapping engine.
Reality is launching with a focus on US assets, with plans to expand later
Eligible users will be able to access the tokenized assets issued by Reality directly through the Bitget exchange. Reality will launch with an initial focus on tokenized access to select U.S. stocks and ETFs, with plans to broaden the asset lineup after release. Product availability, supported assets, trading functionality, and user eligibility will depend on relevant regulations, geographic limitations, and the final terms set at launch.
The tokenized stocks and ETFs will be integrated into Bitget’s trading infrastructure, as they will be accessible through the exchange’s Grid and Copy Trading products and also available in staking and lending products.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen commented on the launch of the Reality platform, saying that tokenized assets have the potential to represent 10% of all financial assets by 2030:
“Reality is built around Bitget’s 10% vision: by 2030, nearly 10% of financial assets could exist in tokenized form. Stablecoins, faster blockchain settlement, and growing interest from major exchanges are pushing RWAs from experiment to market infrastructure. Reality is Bitget’s step toward making that future accessible to global users.”
The move deeper into RWAs is a logical step for Bitget as the exchange’s users are already heavily engaging with traditional markets. A recently published report by the exchange revealed that 52% of its users had positions in assets other than crypto on the exchange.
Bitget has recently also launched IPO Prime, a product that allows investors to gain exposure to major private companies preparing to go public through an IPO.
